Ike Capital is an SEC registered Investment Advisory firm. Ike is named after my grandfather, Isaac Levy. He was a great athlete. In addition to his prowess as a boxer, he was also a terrific runner. As I recall, his specialty was the 'hop, skip, and jump".
My background is as follows; I received my undergraduate degree in Economics from Brandeis University. I was awarded one of the two A+ marks in Introduction to Economics, a class of roughly one hundred twenty-five students. Subsequently, I attended Harvard Business School, from which I received an MBA. During my studies at HBS, I received honors in the second year 'Investment Management Course.' The course instructor was Jay Light, former Dean of the Harvard Business School. Upon graduation, I went to work for Goldman Sachs. I then helped establish and co-manage a hedge fund with Jim Cramer named Cramer-Levy. Afterwards, I had stints at Odyssey Partners, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse First Boston. During the course of my 27 year career, I've had accounts with four members of the Forbes 400.
Currently, I serve as the principal Managing Member of Ike Capital. I manage both equity and fixed income portfolios. My primary goal is to match each individual investor with the appropriate allocation of risk for his or her portfolio.
My resume can be found on a separate tab along with information regarding my assistant, Lauren Anttonen.
